The February Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on February 14, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Elvin Aycock (Professional Engineer and found of Atlanta Engineering Services, Inc). Mr. Aycock will be discussing fraudulent cases worked by Atlanta Engineering Services.

The January Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on January 10, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Steve Derossett (National Director, Client Services, Intertel). Mr. Derossett's presentation will be on HIPPA and the obtaining of information that may or may not be protected.

The December Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on December 13, 2011. The meeting this month will be held for the purpose of discussing business and collecting items for Operation Sandbox. The history of Operation Sandbox and the items need can be found at www.operationsandbox.com.

The November Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on November 8, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Ray Florom (FCCI Insurance Group). Mr. Florom will be giving a presentaion on Heavy Equipment Theft.

The October Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on October 11, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Jonathan Adelman of Harper, Walden, and Craig. Mr. Adelman will give a presentation on the issues surrounding treatment provided by unlicensed professionals.

The September Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on September 13, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Todd Binion (Georgia DNR Environmental Protection Criminal Division Investigator). Mr. Binion will be discussing Emissions Test Fraud and how it relates to insurance fraud.

The July Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on August 9, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Mike Giugliano, Fulton County Detective over the Fulton County Burglary Task Force. Mr. Giugliano will be speaking about the task force.

The July Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on July 12, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Jim Hammonds, GEICO SIU Investigator. Mr. Hammonds will be doing a presentation on Medical Fraud.

The June Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on June 14, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Russ Smith, State Farm SIU Investigator. His presentation is entitled "Auto Glass Investigations ".

The May Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on May 10, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Melissa Segal from Swift, Currie, McGhee, and Hires. Her presentation is entitled "Litigation Considerations for Fraud Investigations that Involve Social Media".

The April Georgia IASIU Meeting will be held at Picadilly Restaurant in Tucker, Georgia at 10:30am on April 12, 2011. The speaker for this meeting will be Drew Lane, Fraud Unit Director at the Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner's Office. Mr. Lane will share new developments in his fraud unit and his strategy for the future.
